DO NOT TRUST VIATOR 😡 BEWARE😡. THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY my partner book through Viator in L.A. Tour operator legends of Hollywood. All went through fine with payment and booking for next morning taking the time offered. We stayed in Redondo Beach as they didn't offer a pick up spot so we decided to take AC hotel by Marriot for 830am pick up. We took the uber to be on time before 830 am we were at the AC hotel by Marriot reception waiting but at 845 am we decided to make contact with the legends of Hollywood tour operator. the booking only shows what's app and a phone number to contact them so I did myself asking the receptionist for their help as we only have WiFi and no a phone number as we only have Irish numbers and I only got the answer machine so I left a voice message. My partner at the same time was trying to find out with Viator and they replied by WhatsApp saying they are unreachable at that point it was getting late and time was passing by with out any sign of them. my partner said to Viator well, we have to cancel and please proceed to the refund because we are not getting the service. Viator replied that they have to confirm that what he was saying was correct. We both said we are giving you all the proof as we speak because it was getting late almost, 9.30am and no sign of the legends of Hollywood. We had to move on and take and Uber to the city to find another tour, having to pay AGAIN for a separate tour. There was a lot of stress, and we also felt as though we weren’t being taken seriously by viator. We had been waiting around and contacted viator as soon as we had been waiting around for a good few minutes and no tour operator around at the pick up point. We asked them to please process the refund and their answer was no, we have to confirm with the tour operator, whom they themselves could not make contact at all with before 9am. Then, after 10am the tour operator contacted my partner saying that they were there at the AC hotel by Marriot, which they weren’t as we were waiting there the whole time, trying to put the blame on us, saying they were looking for us at reception which is only a lie. Viator were not helpful at all , we are still waiting for a refund as we did not receive the service that we paid for after reporting the situation where we were left stranded and waiting.
